Compañía Minera San Gerónimo (CMSG), founded in 1988 by the Rendic family, is a Chilean mining company specializing in the extraction and processing of copper, silver, and gold. Operating in the Coquimbo Region, CMSG produces copper concentrate with silver content, gold concentrate, and copper sulfate for various applications. The company emphasizes regional development and responsible mining practices, employing over 800 people and engaging in sustainable initiatives.

Born into a mining family, Patricio has a deep-rooted understanding of the industry, complemented by his expertise as an industrial civil engineer specializing in mining. Now as CEO of CMSG, he is dedicated to the company’s longevity, balancing respect for traditional knowledge with a forward-thinking approach. By inspiring trust in technology, he successfully shifted the mindset of geologists who once relied solely on conventional methods, empowering them to embrace modern tools that enhance both productivity and accuracy.
