Build the geoscience AI that mining runs on

Mineral Forecast is an enterprise SaaS company for the mining industry. Major mining companies subscribe to our geoscience AI platform and run it on two fronts: mineral exploration and characterization of their mineral deposits.

Here the work doesn’t end in a report. The models we build inform where a company drills, and a drilling campaign costs millions. That forces something uncommon in data science: the geologist on the other side has to understand why the model predicts what it predicts, challenge it, and defend it to their committee. Interpretability isn’t a nice-to-have, it’s the requirement.

We’re a small, AI-first team. Everyone touches both the product and the customers, and what you build in a week shows up in the platform. If you need layers of approval to move, this isn’t the place; if you’d rather have full context and decide, it is.

What you should know before applying

  • Where. Santiago, Chile. Office at Callao 2911, 2nd floor, Las Condes.
  • Setup. Hybrid.
  • Language. Spanish day to day. English for international customers and technical literature.
  • Industry. Mining. You don’t need to come from it, but you do need to want to learn it properly.
  • Tools. Generative AI in daily work, no permission needed. It’s how we work, not a pilot.

How we work

  • Explorers. AI is the first tool we open, not the last. We test before we opine.
  • Impact. We measure by what changes in the customer’s decisions, not by what we ship. A good metric isn’t the same as real impact.
  • Leadership. Nobody will review your work line by line. You lead through judgment and influence, not title.
  • People First. It applies to the team and to the customer: the geologist on the other side knows things we don’t, and we work from that premise.
