Chilean Cobalt Corp. launches AI-Powered exploration pilots in nortern Chile
Among the companies specializing in various AI-based technologies collaborating with Chilean
Cobalt is Mineral Forecast, a Chilean AI platform in geosciences that supports decision-making in
exploration and operations by integrating geological criteria with public and private databases
to highlight areas with high potential for drilling and concession acquisition.
The U.S. critical minerals exploration and development company, Chilean Cobalt Corp. (OTCMKTS: COBA), announced the launch of a pilot program that will use various Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) based technologies to accelerate mineral exploration at its La Cobaltera cobalt-copper project, located in northern Chile.
This pilot program is designed to optimize exploration decision-making by integrating historical exploration and production data with AI-based analysis. The program will focus on both the La Cobaltera project and the broader San Juan district. Data sources will include results from the Company’s 2018-2019 exploration campaign, records from previously operative mines, and publicly accessible geological and geophysical datasets.
The primary objective is to identify new target zones in greenfield exploration areas, based on geological trends observed in past-producing areas, particularly those with high-grade cobalt and copper vein systems.
Following an extensive global review of about twenty potential AI-specialized technology partners, Chilean Cobalt selected three companies. Among them is Mineral Forecast, a Chilean Geoscience AI platform that supports decision-making in exploration and operations by integrating geological criteria with public and private databases to highlight areas with high potential for drilling and concession acquisition.
We have major challenges for 2025, and we are confident that these exploration pilots with AI-based technologies will allow us to accelerate mineral discovery at our cobalt project located in northern Chile.

Mineral Forecast was selected for its expertise in AI-assisted greenfield exploration and brownfield trend extensions, a strategy currently being implemented at La Cobaltera. During the second half of 2025, Chilean Cobalt expects to achieve key technical milestones through this pilot.
Upon completion, the Company will evaluate the results and recommendations to determine the potential for broader, continuous AI implementation.
