Mineral Forecast to Apply Its Geosciences AI to the NeoRe Rare Earth Project Alongside NeoRe SpA and Chilean Cobalt Corp.
Mineral Forecast SpA, a Chile-based geosciences artificial intelligence company, today announced that it is working with NeoRe SpA and Chilean Cobalt Corp. (OTCQB: COBA) to support the next phase of the NeoRe Rare Earth Project (“NeoRe”) in southern Chile.
Under the work program, Mineral Forecast will apply its AI and advanced geoscientific technologies to accelerate NeoRe’s exploration strategy. The engagement is designed to enhance target generation, prioritize exploration activities, and optimize the identification of areas with higher mineral potential across the district.
The collaboration follows a successful pilot program previously conducted with Chilean Cobalt on its La Cobaltera cobalt-copper project in northern Chile. Building on those results, the parties are now extending the use of Mineral Forecast’s technology to NeoRe, where exploration to date has included 133 drill holes totaling 1,504 meters and drilling activity across 12 of 35 identified targets.
“We are proud to bring our geosciences AI to a district-scale rare earth project of NeoRe’s caliber,” said Javier Muñoz, CEO of Mineral Forecast. “By integrating our models into NeoRe’s exploration workflow, we aim to help the team focus drilling where it matters most and shorten the path from data to discovery.”
Mineral Forecast will work directly with NeoRe’s growing technical organization, including its expanding data sciences team, as the Project advances resource definition, process optimization, engineering, and permitting toward its first Modular Extraction Plant (MEP-1).
